Welcome to NordOsten Kennel at Happy Canine.
I am a small hobby breeder of East German Shepherds & Pembroke Welsh Corgi's located in Eastern Massachusetts. I have been breeding dogs for 10 years (since 1998) and have had dogs my whole life growing up (40+ yrs.). I have a great love & respect for all animals. As a kid I grew up next door to my grandfathers farm where I cared for a variety of farm animals and rode & trained horses.
I thank Linda Cunningham for introducing me to the Von Barren Berg dogs. I purchased my first East German Shepherd female, Tula, from her 12 years ago (1996). Linda taught me a great deal about the breed and how train them. I gained alot of knowledge and learned many lessons over the years.
My goal is to produce dogs with excellent temperaments and health. I raise my dogs around children and socialize them at an early age. I strongly believe in socializing, training & a good pack structure to ensure your dogs temperament and happiness among the human pack.
Here at NordOsten Kennel, I offer puppy socialization training and obedience & behavioral training. I instruct the puppy class and Brandon Hayes instructs the obedience class. Together our goal is to teach you how to train your dog, work as a team, and to understand dog behavior.
